Educational Practitioner and Rector of YARSI Universitas, Jakarta, Indonesia

Prof. Fasli Jalal is an educational practitioner and has conducted numerous national assignments with over ten year experiences. His current position is a Rector YARSI University since January 2019. Between January 2010 October and October 2011, he was a Vice Minister of National Education. Previously, he was a General Director for Higher Education Ministry of National Education.

Prof. Reiko Yamada, Ph.D.

Dean and Professor of Faculty of Social Studies and Director of Center for Higher Eduaction and Student Research at Doshisa University, Japan

Reiko YAMADA is Dean and Professor of the Faculty of Social Studies and Director of the Center for Higher Education and Student Research at Doshisha University, Kyoto, Japan. She is the current President of the Japanese Association for College and University Education. She received a Ph.D. from UCLA. She is the author of For the Quality Assurance of Undergraduate Education (Toshindo, 2012), and editor of Quality of Higher Education and its Evaluation: Japan and the World, (Toshindo, 2016). Her recent publications include Measuring Quality of Undergraduate Education in Japan (Ed. Springer, 2014), New Directions of STEM Research and Learning in the World Ranking Movement: A Comparative Perspective (Eds. Palgrave Macmillan, 2018).

Catherin McClellan, Ph.D.

Director, Assessment and Psychometric Research, Australian Council for Educational Research

Catherine McClellan is a psychometrician with diverse background from the design of the video scoring for the Measures of Effective Teaching study to the complex psychometrics of the National Assessment of Educational Progress. She has special expertise and extensive experience in the training and monitoring of raters/observers of complex performance assessment outcomes, the design and creation of monitoring systems to assure quality control of scored data, and applications of item response theory to sparse data designs. Catherine has developed specifications as the subject-matter expert and served as product owner in the build of several large constructed-response scoring software systems. She facilitates master coding "boot camps" where observers are trained to create and explain the examples that form the basis of observer training system.
